Kokka Wood Bracelet

Before it was a bracelet, this was simply wood — grown slowly under Indonesian sun, taking its colour from years rather than days. Kokka does not ask to be noticed. It sits quietly next to louder materials: scale, silver, tooth. That is exactly why I wanted it in the collection.

Why wood, why now

Among pieces built from things that once moved — snake, boar, crocodile — I wanted one material that simply grew, patiently, in one place. Wood carries a different kind of story: not survival, but time. It felt like the collection needed that quieter register somewhere in it.

Shaped and worn smooth by hand

Each bead is cut, shaped, and hand-polished from the same warm grain. Worn daily, the beads pick up the oils of your skin and slowly deepen in tone — the bracelet you receive is not the one you will be wearing in a year, and that slow change is the point.
